How spawn rarity actually works
We pulled the curtain back on the spawn algorithm. Here's what each tier looks like and how biome affects it.
Base distribution Every wild spawn rolls against a base table: - **Common**: 68% - **Rare**: 25% - **Legendary / Ultra**: 6.5% - **Mythic**: 0.4% - **Limited Edition**: 0.1%
That's before biome modifiers, daily streak bonuses, and event multipliers.
Biomes The game classifies your current GPS tile into one of six biomes using OpenStreetMap data: - **Urban high-traffic** — Skibidi, Stonks, Cameraman, CEO Cat spawn more often - **Parks & green space** — Capy, Lirili, Touch Grass, Cactus Lirili - **Coast / beach** — Tralalero, Neon Tralalero, Sushi Chef Shark, Burbaloni - **Industrial / runway** — Bombardiro, Bombardiro XL, Speakerman - **Café / hospitality cluster** — Cappuccino, Ballerina, Espresso CEO - **Suburban / mixed** — even distribution, no specific bias
A biome can multiply a creature's base rate up to 5×. Nothing is ever zero — every creature can spawn anywhere, biome just nudges the odds.
Streak multipliers Each consecutive day completing all three daily quests adds a +1% rare-or-better multiplier, capped at +25% after 25 days. Miss a day, the streak resets to zero. This is the single biggest lever you can pull as a daily player.
What doesn't affect spawns - Your level - Your dex completion % - Time of day (except a tiny dawn bonus for Tung Tung variants) - Weather - Whether you're holding a phone in landscape
We tested all of these. None of them move the needle.
